The lecture has dealt with a review of the entry of the Basra Journal of Agricultural Sciences into Scopus as a model.

 In addition, the basic and important requirements to be achieved by scientific journals to enter Scopus were listed. These requirements are considered very useful for Basra University journals to identify the mechanism used for this.
