The first session of the Quality Council was held at the university at ten o'clock in the morning on Thursday, 2/1/2023, in the presence of all members, and many matters were discussed through which the university can be upgraded, and among these matters is scientific research and ways to develop it and increase the university's entry into the various ranking. The council also stressed the need to increase the number of journals included in Scopus. The Director of the Quality Department also reviewed the obstacles in the university and ways to solve them. The Council also stressed the strengthening of joint supervision with international and regional universities, and the Council focused on the importance of documentation by scientific departments and took special measures for that. The council also discussed the aspects of community service and sustainability and ways to implement them vigorously.
