The employees of Basra University received Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi and his accompanying delegation after their return from honoring in Japan.

     The university cadres congratulated and celebrated the president's awarding of the gold and silver medals out of eight during the awards ceremony of the Asian Universities Summit in Japan.

     The President of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, thanked the well-wishers and stressed that this achievement is the fruit of your efforts and that the university was present in all its aspects and achievements at the Asian Summit.

     It is noteworthy that the University of Basra won these medals as one of the eight best universities in Asia at the summit held in the Japanese city of Nagoya, through two projects, the first being team management, and the second being innovation and excellence in the field of art for this year 2022.
